Dako's unique special stains solution seamlessly integrates into a laboratory’s workflow, and automates the entire special stains process, from drying and clearing through to finished slides. The Artisan solution maximizes lab efficiency, and is the consistent, safe and easy-to-use choice for special stains. Excellent quality special stains using Artisan Reagents Our special stains solution is a combination of the new integrated Artisan Link Special Staining System and high-quality special stains kits and accessories. The Artisan Link unit consists of a slide processor, a computer system with DakoLink software and a report and slide label printer. Artisan Reagents are special stains kits and accessory reagents packaged in patented cartridges that provide precision dispensing of reagents for optimal staining quality.
Dako offers special stains ranging from Acid-Fast Bacteria Stain Kit to Warthin-Starry Stain Kit. The reagents are packaged in a patented reagent cartridge that provides precision dispensing of reagents for optimal staining quality. The reagent cartridges are designed for usage right out of the box, minimizing setup time. Reagent barcoding enables the system to track reagent use and expiration dating. Some of our special stains are for Artisan Link or Link Pro Staining Systems only.
