abberior LIVE 460L - The abberior LIVE 460L dye is specially designed for live-cell imaging, offering an extended Stokes shift of approximately 162 nm, ideal for both STED and confocal microscopy. With a broad excitation range of 440–490 nm and an emission band between 560–680 nm, this dye provides flexibility in multicolour imaging setups. In STED microscopy, it works seamlessly with STED laser wavelengths from 750–800 nm. These features make abberior LIVE 460L an ideal choice for multicolour live-cell STED experiments, especially as a third colour in combination with abberior LIVE 550 and LIVE 610.

abberior LIVE 510 - An advanced dye tailored for live-cell STED and confocal microscopy applications. Its unique molecular structure enhances fluorogenic properties, allowing efficient penetration across cell membranes. Ideal for researchers, this dye is optimally excited between 485-500 nm and, for STED applications, uses a depletion wavelength of 590-610 nm. It is an ideal choice for live-cell imaging, delivering outstanding clarity and reliability across various biological research applications.

abberior LIVE 550 - abberior LIVE 550 belongs to a new generation of fluorescent dyes for live-cell imaging, available exclusively from abberior. This highly photostable and intensely bright orange dye is optimized for excitation with a 561 nm laser. For STED imaging, a depletion wavelength in the 650-775 nm range is recommended.

The unique isomeric structure of abberior LIVE 550 enhances its cell permeability by stabilizing its preferred conformation. This allows the dye to be used in extremely low nanomolar concentrations, effectively minimizing background noise and cytotoxicity. It enables prolonged STED and confocal imaging of live cells and tissue with minimal interference.

For exceptional two-colour live-cell STED and confocal imaging, pair abberior LIVE 550 with abberior LIVE 610 for optimal results.

abberior LIVE SPY555 - Our HaloX® probes offer an efficient and flexible solution for labeling HaloTag® fusion proteins, whether in live cells or on cell surfaces. Designed with high affinity for the HaloTag® protein, these probes bind selectively while allowing dynamic exchange due to the absence of a covalent bond. This exchangeability enables the use of fresh probes as needed, which is particularly advantageous in confocal and STED microscopy. This transient interaction allows continuous detection of proteins in live cells over extended periods without the impact of photobleaching.

The abberior LIVE SPY555 HaloX® probe is a highly photostable, bright red-emitting dye, ideal for applications that use a 561 nm laser for excitation. For STED imaging, a recommended depletion wavelength between 750 - 800 nm ensures optimal performance.
