Labeled Probes & Detection Systems
Abbott Vysis probes were created for the identification of genetic aberrations, such as translocations, deletions, amplifications, and chromosomal aneuploidies by Fluorescence in situ Hybridization (FISH). FISH probes employ two differently labeled DNA-probes: a Texas Red-labeled DNA probe giving red fluorescent signals and fluorescein-labelled PNA probes giving green fluorescent signals.
